Established in 1952, by father and son Lester and Howard Weir, Niagara Implement began selling farm equipment including tractors and orchard sprayers. In 1967,  the company started selling and servicing lawn mowing equipment. Al Weir joined his father Howard in 1972 and is the current owner of Western New York's oldest Kubota dealer. Niagara Implement started selling the Kubota line of equipment in 1977.

In January 2005,  a second store was added in East Amherst, New York. Managed by Greg Ketch, who started with the company in 1993, Niagara implement has continued to satisfy their customers in the same tradition established by Lester and Howard over 60 years ago.
